The mariachi's sidelong glance and the model of the stripper in the background led irresistibly to this image. The mariachi's suit was selected and inverted to create the silvery tone. The stage was built from scratch with a fill, then distorted to match the perspective. The spotlights are made with an all white layer with a diffused mask. The stripper has an outer glow as well as the spots and an omni light in 'front' of her. Overall a sumi-e filter was applied.
