This began with the thought of church bells ringing on Christmas morning. The words from the carol helped me think about how to construct the image. The steeples are silhouettes from stock images. The sky is a dawn gradient. The mist is from render>clouds with blue and white color swatches. The matting is a white layer with a canvas texture applied and a color layer with a hue taken from the sky. The font for the carol is PhyllisD.
