The
black and while patterns of the kangaroos' muzzles grabbed
my attention and I selected them and flipped each to form
a sort of Rorsharch blot, then stacked the results. This
began to look vaguely oriental, so I colored the stack
with a gradient, added a gold stroke and created a scroll
background. The scroll is made from a rice paper pattern
fill, a color layer and some shading for the wrinkles.
The end staffs are just rectangles shaded to look like
cylinders with grooved end finials made with soft lines
and shading. The Great Wall background is a modified stock
image. The tiles are rectangles filled with colors picked
off the background with a little added noise and a bevel
layer style.
