While I was making the cactus buds it occurred to me that the petals looked like upside-down hot air balloons. These balloons began as teardrop custom shapes. I added bevel/emboss styles and a stock balloon basket. The mountains are a filled polygon with added polygons for scree slopes. The sky is a gradient.
