I suppose I can blame this one on carry-over from last week. When I looked at the women with their hands in the air, I had this association to Holy Rollers and decided to make the bee an object of veneration. I used smart blur to change a bee car into a line drawing, then applied an emboss layer style to create the glass leading. The rest of the stained glass window started as a gradient -- I applied the crystallize filter and then stroked the cells on a separate layer and added an emboss style to the strokes. I selected the women, then added an offset layer of shading to give the impression of their being lit from the other side.
