The hanging lamb evoked some contradictory associations -- wool merchants, the Lamb of God and so on. After I separated the lamb from the background, I got the idea of using it in a coat of arms. The crook and the key got added from the religious associations and were made from filled selections with bevels. The shield began as a custom shape thickened with multiple alt-nudges.
