I began this by selecting the gold parts of the trillium and enlarging and duplicating them. I then made a globe using a color picked off the plant to fill a circular selection and added a radial gradient for shading. The ribbon began as a rectangular selection -- I added a gold stroke and the Ontario motto, then used the shear filter and some shading to give it a twist. The clouds are one of Nagel's brush series. The projecting rays are from the wind filter and a colored gradient.
