I selected the red felt antlers and started playing with them -- at one point I duplicated one and flipped it horizontally. Joined to the original, it looked like a leaf. I did the same with the other antler and then made custom brushes of the two 'leaves' and brushed out a whirlwind pattern. I added a stock image of a boy in the midst of the leaves. The overall look is from a duplicate merged layer filtered with ink outlines and with the blending mode set to overlay.
