I decided to add a basketball backboard and hoop for the classic slam-dunk action shot. The hoop is from a stock photo, isolated, filled with black and given a 4 pixel stroke outline. I selected the basketball player and applied a smart blur to smooth out the mosaic tile, then added a layer modified with the chalk and charcoal filter. Lines outlining the uniform edges and the ball seams were added on another layer.
