Jodi Frye's black and white entry inspired me to try my hand -- leaving one red apple for variety. I separated the color channels using Lynch's add-on utilities and then combined them in various ways until I was happy with the tone. I applied one of the Artistic filters to a duplicate layer and then played with the opacity until I got the muted effect I wanted. The frame line was created with strokes.
