This started in an attempt to duplicate the rectangular inset area in the wall that holds the hose. I tried adding a life-ring, which got me thinking about the Coast Guard, and then experimented with some textures and filters. 'Semper Paratus' is the US Coast Guard motto. The font is Stencil BT.
