A straightforward restoration in honor of Mother's Day. A lot of the damage was in the blue channel, so I used the Channel Mixer to combine the red and green channels in a new monotone image. After cropping the right edge, I selected and blurred the background to eliminate remaining damage and spots, then added some noise back in. Tried out two new plug-ins: Neat Image and Focus Magic to clean up and sharpen the image. Cloning and spot healing brush cleaned up some damage and mildew. The sepia color is a layer style.
